Paul LaWrence Curtis B.A.

International, Contemporary, Visionary Artist

Paul LaWrence Curtis has been painting since the age of 12, initially in his home town of Barnsley, Yorkshire England. Even his earliest pieces contained a certain mystical quality, and were produced with bold colorful strokes. After a life altering safari in Kenya, Africa in 1989, Paul LaWrence turned professional and continued to embody spiritual healing energies into his acrylic images on canvas and watercolor paper. “My connection to the unseen realms has always guided my life and my work. Over the past 16 years I have worked with spirit through deep meditation and powerful intuitive abilities, to produce inspired paintings that call upon you, the viewer, to open yourself up to wonderful healing energies”.

His three bold and powerfully moving styles of abstract, abstract realism and realism, all encompass this depth of spiritual awareness that is a part of LaWrences everyday life. His work moves you in profound ways that are often unexplainable yet leave you with a strong sense of joy and well being.

Paul LaWrences paintings and prints are internationally acclaimed throughout England, Japan, Canada and the U.S.A. For the past 20 years Paul LaWrence has lived in the breathtakingly beautiful red rocks of Sedona Arizona. “In all my work I realize the possibility of altering people’s conscious and unconscious awareness and realities, through powerfully moving imagery. I create a safe haven in my paintings where ones power and vulnerability are celebrated, and spontaneous healing is possible and welcomed. I consciously choose to express the power of love from the oneness of spirit into all my pieces, and project that love out to you the viewer. In expressing love through my medium of acrylic paintings and Giclee prints, I am playing my part in raising awareness, and altering our present fear based society back into a society of love and light, which I believe to be our natural state of being.

“As spiritual beings working at being human, I believe our challenge is to find and express love constantly to the best of our ability, without judgment or prejudice, and to continually focus our desires on joy and happiness, whilst supporting each other in the living of our dreams”
